Substance abuse affects us all, and in some ways has touched every family and circle of friends in America. More than eight of every ten Americans who need services for addiction to substance abuse are not receiving the professional help that they need to get well. Untreated addiction costs Americans more than 100,000 lives and 400 billion dollars annually.

In Lane County, only 11% of those that need treatment for addiction are able to get help due to lack of treatment centers. Community Issues need Community Solutions!

Statistics
In Lane County Oregon, 90% of new felony cases are meth related.
Because of Meth in Lane County, our current arrest rate for violent crime is double the national average.
In Lane County our jail beds remain over half empty due to lack of funding.
Lane County has the fewest jail beds per capita in the state.
Since July 1, 2008 budget cuts, inmate releases jumped to 60 percent in Lane County, turning out more violent offenders.
